The Ace can count as a high card or low card. Straight: A hand of five cards in consecutive ranking, that may or may not include an Ace, without regard to suit. The Three of a kind card values will determine the rank of the Full house (i.e., three eights will rank higher than three fives).įlush:A combination of five cards of the same suit, not consecutive in value. Royale flush: a hand composed of an Ace, King, Queen, Jack and 10 of the same suit. An Ace may be used to complete a straight flush or an Ace-2-3-4-5 straight.
In decreasing order, the rank of the cards is as follows: Ace, King, Queen, Jack, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3 and 2.
